TrendTrack is a shop research tool first; we tested its free plan only. It opens store search and full store cards, but not ad search. Ads start on Pro at $89 a month; the $49 Starter plan covers shops and products only, and advertiser search needs Business at $159.

What TrendTrack free opens

TrendTrack free opens one of the five Explorer tabs: Shops. Products, Ads, Advertisers and Emails carry a lock, and clicking Ads on our free account opened a window titled “Find ideas for your next campaign” with a single “Upgrade plan” button. Settings → Usage showed Look up 0 / 0, BrandTracker 0 / 0 and Mail 0 / 0.

TrendTrack free plan, Explorer → Ads: “Find ideas for your next campaign. Discover creatives across Meta, TikTok, and Google.” and an “Upgrade plan” button. Our account, 27 October 2026.

Shop search works, with a cut-off. Searching “lostdutchmanleather” returned two stores, and the rows below them were blurred behind “Unlock Shop analytics”. Each visible row still carries TrendTrack’s revenue estimate, monthly visits and the number of active Meta ads.

What a TrendTrack shop card shows on the free plan

The shop card is where the free plan is generous. For Lost Dutchman Leather it showed 60K visitors a month, up 2.9%, an estimated $377K in monthly revenue, 261 active Meta ads out of 8,869 TrendTrack has recorded, 6,080 ads launched, 26 active Google ads, 10 apps, 5 pixels and 107 emails. Only Reach/Spend was locked behind “Upgrade plan”.

The same card has a “Last Published” strip with the store’s newest Meta ads and their full text. On 27 October 2026 the newest Lost Dutchman ads in it had started on 25 October, two days earlier; the targeting on each card was marked Pro. So the free plan does show ads, one store at a time, but you cannot search them.

One store in the default list, Ridge, is labelled “Demo shop” and opens fully, including reach and spend. Judge the free plan by an ordinary store, not by the demo.

TrendTrack pricing has three paid plans and an Agency tier on request. Inside our account on 27 October 2026, billed monthly:

Shops and products are unlimited on every paid plan, and email search starts on Pro. Quarterly billing takes 15% off and yearly 30%. TrendTrack shows the same numbers in euros to visitors from Europe and in dollars to visitors from the United States. If you came for ads, Starter does not include them.

TrendTrack’s database and our launch test

TrendTrack says it tracks 5 million top-selling stores and over 250 million ads, adding 2 to 3 million a day; that is its own figure, not ours.

TrendTrack sat out our 20-ad launch test. On 21 October 2026 we took 20 ads that started running in the US on 20 October from the Meta Ad Library and looked for each one in the tools we hold. TrendTrack’s free plan has no ad search, so it was left out rather than counted as missing.

If TrendTrack doesn’t fit

For ad search on a budget, Dropispy Premium covers Facebook ads plus shop data for less than TrendTrack Starter, and Spytrend searches Facebook, Instagram and TikTok ads on its $79 plan. For Shopify products from Meta ads, Minea starts at $49.

Should you pay for TrendTrack?

Use the free plan to read one competitor store at a time; it shows nearly everything but reach and spend. Pay only if you need search across the market: ads start on Pro and advertisers on Business. We have not tested a paid plan.

FAQ

Is TrendTrack free?

TrendTrack has a free account, not a free trial. On 27 October 2026 ours opened only shop search and shop cards; the Products, Ads, Advertisers and Emails tabs were locked, and Look up, BrandTracker and Mail showed 0 of 0.

What is TrendTrack?

TrendTrack, also searched as “Trend Track”, is a shop intelligence tool for e-commerce at trendtrack.io: it estimates a store’s revenue and traffic and lists its Meta, Google and TikTok ads, apps, pixels and emails. It says it tracks 5 million stores and over 250 million ads.

How much is TrendTrack?

TrendTrack costs $49 a month for Starter, $89 for Pro and $159 for Business with three seats, billed monthly; quarterly billing takes 15% off and yearly 30%. Ad search starts on Pro, advertiser search on Business. In Europe the same figures are shown in euros.

Can TrendTrack’s free plan show a competitor’s new ads?

Only one store at a time. On 27 October 2026 the shop card’s “Last Published” strip showed Lost Dutchman’s newest Meta ads with their full text, started two days earlier, but the free plan has no ad search across stores.
