Our Spytrend review: the free plan shows only ads older than three months, and Pro at $79 a month opens fresh Facebook, Instagram and TikTok ads. A Gymshark campaign launched on 6 October 2026 appeared in Spytrend the same day. This site is published by the Spytrend team.

What the Spytrend free plan opens
On the free plan, Spytrend search runs in Archive mode, which shows only ads older than three months. The Live switch, the TikTok tab and selection analytics carry a lock labelled Base, and a banner under the feed reads “Free is 3 months old. Base is live.”

The pricing page calls the plans Starter and Pro; inside the app the same plans are labelled Free and Base.
Verdict: The Spytrend free plan is an archive browser; anything launched in the last three months needs Pro.
What Pro adds and what it costs
Spytrend Pro costs $79 a month for one user, or 20% less billed annually. It opens live ads, the full TikTok corpus, search by Pixel ID and landing domain, and deduplication. The price includes one AI category; each extra category costs $50 a month. Team starts at $63.20 per seat for 4 to 20 members, and first payments carry a 14-day money-back guarantee, according to spytrend.com/pricing on 8 October 2026.
Some actions are paid from a separate balance rather than the subscription: revealing the brand behind a cloaked ad costs $1.00.
Verdict: Budget $79 a month for Spytrend Pro, plus $50 for every AI category beyond the first.
How many ads Spytrend sees
Spytrend publishes a count of 1.4 billion+ ads, most of them launched in 2025 and 2026. Unlike PowerAdSpy, its search shows how many ads match: our “dropshipping” search returned 52,622 ads on Meta and 8,457 on TikTok.

The counter is not always instant on a broad keyword. On our first “dropshipping” search on Meta it showed “count unavailable”; the second attempt finished after about 30 seconds. On the TikTok tab, pressing Enter did not run the search; the Apply button did.
Verdict: Spytrend tells you how many ads match a search; on a broad keyword, give the counter a second try.
How fresh Spytrend’s ads are
Every ad in Spytrend shows the day it launched on Facebook and the day Spytrend added it. We opened six ads from Gymshark’s “Basically every shade ever” campaign: all six launched on 6 October 2026 and were added to Spytrend the same day. The newest ads in the “dropshipping” feed had launched and been added on 8 October, the day we searched.

Six ads from one campaign are not a measurement of the whole database. For comparison, an ad from the same Gymshark series reached PowerAdSpy two days after it was posted, as shown in our PowerAdSpy review.
Verdict: In our check, new Meta ads reached Spytrend on the day they launched.
Advertiser profiles
Spytrend keeps a profile for each advertiser with totals. Gymshark’s showed 71,944 ads, 3,632 of them active, 5,458 launched in the last 14 days, and its top countries: Britain 31%, France 21%, Germany 20%. The Advertisers section listed 33,083,857 Meta advertisers on 8 October 2026.

Verdict: A Spytrend advertiser profile answers how much a brand runs, and where, on one screen.
Search and filters
Spytrend searches ad text, fan pages and links. Its filters cover category, country and the number of countries per ad, language, platform, video or photo, format, call to action, status (active, inactive or vanished), date range, unique ads only, multi-language uploads, webmaster, domain, domain zone, Pixel ID, advertiser, days running, likes, links in the ad text, EU reach, gender, age and payer. Quick filters sort by trending, new in 24 hours, most re-uploaded or creation date.
Verdict: Pixel ID and domain search are the quickest way in Spytrend to tie ads to one owner.
Chrome extension
Spytrend has one. A Chrome Web Store search for “spytrend” on 8 October 2026 returned “Store Spy — Shopify & Ads Inspector by SpyTrend”, with no ratings yet.

Where Spytrend falls short
- Two networks only. Spytrend covers Meta and TikTok; it has no YouTube, Google, LinkedIn, Reddit or Quora ads.
- AI categories cost extra. Each one beyond the first adds $50 a month to the $79 plan.
- Two sessions per account. Our account settings showed “2 of 2 sessions used”: a Spytrend account works on two devices at a time.
- Plan names differ. The pricing page says Starter and Pro, the app says Free and Base.
- Counter on broad keywords. It can need a second attempt, as above.

FAQ
Is Spytrend free?
Spytrend has a free plan that shows only ads older than three months. Live ads, the TikTok tab and selection analytics need the paid plan, Pro at $79 a month, which the Spytrend app labels Base.
Is Spytrend worth it?
Spytrend is worth it for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok research that needs fresh ads: a Gymshark campaign launched on 6 October 2026 was in Spytrend the same day. It is not worth it for LinkedIn, Reddit, Quora or YouTube ads, which Spytrend does not cover.
Is this Spytrend review independent?
No. Spy Tools Review is published by the team behind Spytrend, and the Pro access we tested was provided by that team. The Spytrend free plan was tested on our own account, and every screenshot shows what we saw on 8 October 2026.
